Rutlee was born with a liver disease called Biliary Atresia. He had surgical procedure at 13 days old called a Kasai. This procedure was not working when they left the hospital but has since started working. His parents have already been told that Rutlee is going to have to have a liver transplant but they cannot tell them whether it will be tomorrow or years from now.
